Provides financial planning and analytical support to Sr Director of Finance, Commercial Brand Teams and Operational departments. Includes developing and managing budgets and quarterly forecasts, review of actuals and analysis of variances from Budget, maintaining and developing Hyperion reports, NPV/ROI analyses as called upon for potential marketing and capital investments.


Provide financial support to business area client – act as financial point for business, including:
1.Coordinate and develop budgets, forecasts and long term plans per the Corporate Planning Schedules, for all lines for the P&L
2.Understand drivers of variances vs. budget for expenses and product sales
3.Identify areas of opportunity for spending efficiencies
4.Incorporate and share Financial Stewardship principles across the commercial team
5.Help manage accrual and accounting process across the business, including ability to provide business with uncommitted and unspent funds
6.Understand the risks and opportunities behind the P&L.Develop and maintain Hyperion reports that help client and senior management better understand and manage the business.
7.Use financial analyses tools to help measure and prioritize investment decisions.

Support and help manage data integrity, including summarizing all types of expenses.




• BS Degree in Finance or Accounting required
• Preference given to candidates with MBA or CPA/CMA
• Financial analysis experience including support of business/commercial organization, with preference given to candidates who have worked in pharmaceutical or life science industry
• Proficient with financial reporting systems (such as Hyperion or other management reporting packages) and financial databases to produce accurate and timely financial reports and dashboards
• Proficient interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic and changing environment
