  • Responsibilities

    This position supports the Senior Director of Marketing Operations in the OAPI Commercial Operations Organization.  Marketing Operations provide operational support and project management for OAPI brand teams and all Commercial Operations Functional Teams.  

    The individual selected for this position will be primarily responsible for leading Marketing Projects (including launch activities) and key business initiatives.  The responsibilities will include Project Management of projects or workstreams, meeting facilitation and leadership, creating Sr. Management dashboards, reports and updates and creating and maintain project plans.

    This position will work cross-functionally with all Commercial teams including; Brand Teams, Sales, Corporate Communications, Legal, EQC, Medical, Market Access, and Sales Training.  Additionally, this position will provide direct support to the brand teams to support brand planning and other commercial support needs. 

    Participation or leading special projects as assigned in coordination with Marketing Operation may also be required.

    Cross Functional Commercial Projects Lead
    • Partner with functional teams and vendors to identify areas to improve upon current tactics and share new ideas
    • Lead key operational workstreams (e.g. launch planning and execution, strategic and brand planning, brand budgeting)
    • Lead process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs
    Ad Hoc Brand Team Support

    • Operational Projects; label updates
    • Executive Presentations

     

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • BA/BS degree
    • Certification as a Project Management profession or Six Sigma preferred
    • Expertise in directly managing large projects with multiple workstreams
    • Expertise with project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project
    • 10 years of pharmaceutical sales and/or operational experience
    • Ability to meet business objectives, team deliverables, and timely completion of duties and projects
    • Knowledge of the company’s products, the competition, and the pharmaceutical industry in general
    • Strong managerial, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Competent knowledge of the company’s working tools, processes, and policies
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong planning, organizational skills
    • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, sales force management, sales force expansion, and tactical implementation
    • Ability to function effectively under conditions of uncertainty and ambiguity
    • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to achieve established deadlines
    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical market research information resources
    • Strong capability as an adaptive learner.

     

    Preferred:

    • Strategic planning experience within sales and marketing.
