Senior Service Technician:
Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and conducts modifications on electronic medical device instruments. Gives technical assistance by phone to internal and external customers and sales personnel. Assist with writing work instructions and part specifications. Work diligently to close out product complaints, and assist in training external and internal customers when necessary.
5 years continuous experience servicing medical devices or electromechanical equipment
Knowledge of relational databases and inventory control, preferred Oracle experience
Knowledge of GMP and GDP, and FDA guidelines for servicing, installation, warehouse and distribution manufacturing activities
Very familiar with HiPOT testers, and electrical safety testing devices
Able to operate HiPOT testers, electrical safety testers, oscilloscopes, flow meters, voltage meters, pressure gauges, and other service equipment
Ability to research problems and determine root causes
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent Written communication skills
Excellent Documentation Practices
5 years experience with customer service and training others to operate and service equipment
Ability to work independently and solve problems using information extracted from test data or verbal and written description
Able to follow step by step instructions
Ability to write Technical Instructions or Working Practices
Must be able to lift up to 65lbs
Minimum: AA degree in electrical engineer from a technical trade school, or 7 years medical devices servicing electromechanical equipment or a Bachelors degree in engineering and years servicing medical devices
