  • Responsibilities

    • “Magnet for Otsuka-People”; Find top talent that will learn, grow, dance, leap, and soar in our unique culture
    • Execute full life cycle recruiting activities; Partner with HRBPs, hiring managers and other applicable parties to: Review and evaluate job openings; Design and implement sourcing strategies to meet business needs; deliver a diverse slate of candidates to hiring managers; Create job descriptions; define job-specific selection criteria and screening questions; Source and screen potential candidates; gather and consolidate feedback from interview team and complete interview evaluation documentation; Prepare offer terms and deliver verbal offer
    • Measure outcomes and strive for continuous improvement
    • Provide strategic and consultative services to HRBPs and Hiring Managers; Influence business leaders to act in the best interest of Otsuka and Otsuka-people; Foster relationship and build credibility; ask tough questions and influence outcomes; advocate for internal mobility
    • Collaborate with Coordinators to execute basic and complex transactions, recruiting administration, and reporting
    • Identify recruiting trends in the marketplace; Stay current on recruiting practices in the marketplace
    • Represent Otsuka’s employer brand to external candidates; raise the bar for talent
    • Support design and implementation of special projects

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum of 8 years of recruitment experience within a search firm and/or corporate environment
    • At least 2 years experience in a professional environment; General HR Process and Programs
    • Knowledge and understanding of OFCCP compliance
    • Ability to apply excellent customer service and consultative practices
    • Ability to learn, apply, and communicate business-related concepts and ideas
    • Ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving expertise; tenacious and resilient
    • Ability to employ research and analytical thinking
    • Ability to achieve results

    Preferred:

    • 8-10 years of corporate full lifecycle recruitment experience
    • Experience within Pharmaceutical, Medical, or Bio-tech
    • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Possession of excellent team work
    • MBA or MA or MS degree in Human Resources, ILR, OD, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or a related field
