This postion acts as business liaison between the Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Department and Sales Operations department. Assists in managing the Comprehensive Compliance Program on behalf of the Sales Organization. This position is responsible for tracking training requirements of the Pharmaceutical sales force and respective home office personnel. Responsible for accurate tracking, reporting and adherence to OAPI policies related to expenses. Responsible for the tracking and reporting of promotional expenses at the healthcare professional level and oversees other specific reporting guidelines for State level reporting. This position is responsible for producing monthly, yearly and ad hoc reports for the Comprehensive Compliance Program. Ensures records are accurately maintained for the Hospital credentialing program, compliant recording and reporting of Sunshine Act Reportable items in SFA, and other areas as needed. Reponsible for working closelty with HR in managing field roster and field placement in the OTIS tool. Maintains focus on customer service and continuous improvement.
Manage production of monthly and quarterly Field Compliance Ride Along reports and District Manager Super Report across all Field Sales teams
Develop and maintain stringent quality control process and measures that ensures the accuracy of all reports and information disseminated from Sales Operations
Manages updates and changes to requirements and all testing needed as a result of Change Requests impacting the report
Collaborates with IT to on any system changes that impact compliance reporting
Keep URS specification documents updated as changes are made
Create and analyze management insight reports in a timely manner that track and monitor various aspects of sales force HCP spend. This includes SEP and Speaker program spend over company policy limits and related redediation process
Manages remediation process for HCP spend overages – for both SEP and Speaker Programs
Maintain an up-to-date listing of approved promotional materials in the SFA, focusing on materials with monetary value to HCPs
Conducts data remediation for Sunshine Act reportable promotional materials
Address HCP disputes related to SunshineAct reportable as requested by E&C
Effectively collaborates with EQC, Legal, IT, Finance, and Sales Operations to develop and maintain an all-inclusive system for reporting
Collaborate with E&C to review and maintain comprehensive and on-going training to ROMs, DMs and new hires on HCP Expense reporting in Concur, Expense Policy, Expense Overage Remediation process and process for recording Field Compliance Ride Along in SFA
Accurately maintain and continuously improve the centralized Hospital Credentialing program, including keeping all Otsuka documents up to date. Collaborate with legal and HR for any additional required documentations by HCI. Effective vendor management.
Participate on cross-organizational teams and build effective collaboration with Sales management, regional operations personnel, Marketing, Managed Markets, Sales Training, Legal, Compliance, and others to help drive continuous improvement
Responsible for SOP related to field monitoring program and Hospital Credentialing
Reponsible to field roster updates
• BA/BS degree
• Minimum of three years within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Detailed knowledge of the PhRMA code (Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals)
• Demonstrated proficiency with business analysis, written and verbal communications, presentation and interpersonal skills is required.
• Initiative, problem-solving skills, and a focus on continuous improvement
• The candidate should have advanced hands-on experience with Cegedim sales force automation platform (or equivalent), Microsoft Access (or equivalent), PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Experience within Pharmaceutical Sales Force Compliance role
• Sales or Sales Operations experience
• Experience in other functional areas (e.g. Sales Training, Marketing, etc.)
• SQL or database query skills
