  • Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

    Solution Ownership

    • Designing, implementing and supporting development and business processes in an Ariba environment.
    • Designing Ariba technical solutions, identifying RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and development
    • Understanding the overall solution architecture and integration requirements with Oracle, SAP S/4 HANA and other legacy applications
    • Understanding of the integration cloud integration methods like API’s, Cloud Integration Gateway
    • Identifying and addressing internal client needs: actively participating in design/solution discussions and meetings; managing Ariba changes and enhancements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues
    • Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.
    • Technical/Functional expert in at least one Solution Area/Component
    • Cross-organizational lead/go-to for Solution Area(s)/Component(s)
    • Working closely with the Enterprise architecture team to develop solutions to support the Source to Pay process
    • Product issues both Customer (incidents) and non-customer (health monitoring) reporting
    • Multiplication of solution knowledge across entire organization (how things work and why)
    • Driving visibility and knowledge of new product Enhancements and roadmap
    • Product Supportability and Customer Adoption
    • Develop strong partnership with SAP Ariba shared services team, Supply Chain and Finance teams to make key decisions and drive solution


    Incident Engagement

    • Engage with Mission Critical Support on high impact incident analysis
    • Provide solutions to complex/high impact issues
    • Provide workarounds/alternatives to prevent excessive customizations
    • Validation of escalated Enhancement Requests prior to Solutions Management engagement

    Knowledge Transfer

    • Externally and internally recognized as a noted leader/expert in product area(s)
    • Coaches/engages/mentors others to multiply knowledge across the entire organization
    • Partner with cross functional to improve documentation gaps and identify usability issues




    • A Bachelor’s Degree is required
    • Minimum of 3 full life cycle Ariba implementations encompassing Strategic sourcing, Contracts Management, buying, commerce automation and integration with SAP is required
    • Minimum of 7 years Project and Ariba Solutions delivery experience in one or more upstream or downstream modules required
    • Procurement/Procure to Pay Operations experience is required
    • ARIBA Solution Architecture and capabilities experience is required.
    • ORACLE knowledge is an asset
    • Aptitude for understanding how SaaS solutions solve business problems is required
    • Team player with strong problem-solving skills, must be detail-oriented and have ability to manage priorities and deadlines
    • High energy with the capability to multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly-growing organization.
    • Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams, to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions
    • Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help customers make proper business decisions.
    • Up to 10% travel is required based upon business needs
