The Senior Manager of Client Technology will be responsible for the overall client experience for all laptop, tablet, smart device, common software, and printing technology. This encompasses the evaluation of emerging technologies for customer fit and value; exploring methods to improve the end user computing experience; copy and print services; management of software delivery; client equipment asset lifecycle management, and end user Level 1 and 2 support. This position will oversee the deployment of software across all issued devices, Otsuka’s smartphone program, and end user support (Help Desk, and Business Services Delivery Desk). They will manage the end user component of Microsoft and Adobe license agreements. They will mine and review support metrics and explore opportunities to expand a self-service support model and drive down call volume. They will maintain a strong partnership with the OIT to keep them abreast of technologies that may bring value, and to meet their software deployment needs. They will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, resolve, and communicate device UX issues to maximize the benefit of technology systems investments.
