This position is a shared service for the commercial, development and OPCJ (Japan) areas of the pharmaceutical business referred to as OAPI, OPDC, and OPCJ respectively. This position will be responsible for market research, business intelligence, and select business analytics for OAPI and as needed for OPDC and OPCJ as part of the Patient Branding Strategy Department. It will support one or more CNS (or Cardio-Renal) brands or assets in development. This role reports to the Team Lead, Customer Insights and Business Analytics as part of the functional team. The Director in this role will be expected to conduct actionable market research that will have a positive impact on brand performance and optimize strategic decision making by marketing and sales leadership. The main client in this role is the OAPI CNS Business and other brand teams (in-line and in-development).
The position requires oversight regarding the design, execution, and/or management of market research projects, direct communication and management of vendors for primary and secondary market research projects in the US market (and international markets, as needed). The position also requires strengths in business analytics as well as leadership and collaboration with marketing and sales partners. The person in this position will be part of the OAPI core team and will be interacting directly with OAPI senior leadership team and serve as their point person for the assigned brands/assets.
