Responsibilities

Provide predictive analytics for effective data driven management policies.  Use specialized operational knowledge of pharmaceutical industry to develop plans designed to meet management objectives.  Support and guide management decision making through application of mathematical models analyzing large data sets from within the company and industry wide to identify problems and propose solutions in key functions. Requires interaction with all levels within the organization including all key stakeholders, including relevant internal departments and outside partners/vendors.

Qualifications

Specific job duties:

  • Perform mathematical/statistical modeling to plan, develop, oversee, and deploy ensuring full compliance with all regulations and SOP’s.
  • Understand various data sources and leverage quantitative application and analysis skills to help determine market potential.
  • Analyze inputs, present different scenarios, and make recommendations to management on workforce deployment/incentives.
  • Analyze and deploy complex data and datasets stored in SQL and other databases.
  • Responsible for planning, development, oversight, and timely deployment of the operational plans for national operations or specific territories, districts and regions as required.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and workflow processes, and oversee adherence to same.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve processes related to use of human resources to ensure all potential efficiencies are leveraged.
  • Create decision support resources for senior management.
  • Work in Matrix Management Structure with Project Management, Coordination and People Management in a Team environment.
  • Use and apply analytics and strong Excel spreadsheet skills.

 

  • Minimum Reqs: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research or other related quantitative science.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in solving various operational problems.

  • Three (3) years of operational research experience using various primary and secondary databases pertaining to the pharmaceutical industry.
