Director, Market Access - Digital Health

The Director, Market Access Digital Health reports to the Vice President, Market Access and will be leading the development of the Digital Health portfolio in collaboration with the Digital Health brand team and through coordination of the extended Market Access team. 


The Director, Market Access Digital Health is accountable for all Digital brand payer related initiatives to ensure product access, financial goals and performance; as well as approaches to our market access customers, corporate approach recommendations to existing and emerging channels and bridging early development product market access strategies.


The position is also accountable for the pre-launch development of pricing and contracting strategy in collaboration with Finance, Market Access Pricing and the brand team.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between the brand, trade and specialty pharmacy to help determine appropriate specialty distribution and specialty pharmacy network working collaboratively to develop and monitor performance metrics to evaluate those partners
  • Develop and lead a cross CNS portfolio approach to market access customers
  • Develop a Digital Health portfolio value proposition for market access customers 
  • Lead the team to develop and implement payer pull-through systems for the Digital Health Sales Team
  • Closely integrate with the Digital Health brand team in strategy development, budget planning and tactical execution
  • Collaborate with Digital Health brand team to ensure payer value drivers are incorporated into all payer marketing initiatives
  • Continually update strategies for early development by partnering with Medical Affairs, Health Outcomes and Market Access team while effectively bridging them to inline marketing support
  • Ensures that external vendors and or service providers meet performance goals based on aligned metrics
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to provide clarity around emerging business issues; understanding of Regulatory change, market research, product knowledge & competitor knowledge, pricing, contracting and reimbursement etc. to effectively model “what if’ scenarios
  • Lead the Development and maintenance of Market Access Account Executive team material for payer dialogue and execution
  • Direct Digital Health Brand specific Payer/Advocacy Market research activities in collaboration with the market research and brand team
  • Manage Payer Marketing Digital Health Brand budget resources
  • Lead market access channel assessments and build recommendations on the best way to approach our existing channels and across Payer, LTC, IDN and Hospital channels
  • Lead the assessment and development of new channel enhancement
  • Manages key Agencies of Record to deliver tools and tactics




  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited four-year college or university (or the equivalent if education obtained outside of the United States)
  • Minimum 10 years business experience in the healthcare, device or pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • 2-3 years minimum market access experience
  • Understanding of the clinical development process
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix team environment
  • Excellent planning and strategy development while executing against tight timelines
  • High emotional intelligence in managing multiple business initiatives and cross-functional relationships
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and project management skills


  • MBA or Master's Degree
  • 2-3 years' experience in CNS and/or Digital Medical Device therapeutic area
  • Pharmaceutical brand team experience
  • Knowledge of payer and access stakeholder needs in the US

*Based in Princeton, NJ - Travel (approximately 15-20%)*
